The decision : 14 days, 3 countries !

 Post many rounds of discussion, all of us figured that doing more than five cities would be foolish. In fact we realised this after the trip, that even five cities was one city too much. Give each city 3 days, Be it any city. 

Now Rome &  Paris were obvious choices, I highly recommend them! More on them later. 

We finalised that we'll spend(in the order of visit)  :

Rome 2 nights

Florence 2 nights 

Venice 1 night

Paris 4 nights 

Amsterdam 3 nights

I wouldn't change this plan too much, but for the fact that I would add one more day to Rome & remove Venice. Venice is beautiful and all, but it's extremely overrated. The floating city and the gondola rides are a big marketing success- that's about it. 

Choose a city you have aspired to visit, don't ever cancel that.Your decision would be based on what you've seen in movies, what you've heard and read about, so was ours. It's okay to not research too much, follow your heart. After all its your trip! 

The All amazing Euro Trip !

While Sneha started planning for Singapore and Malaysia, I stumbled upon the thought of doubling our budget & distance traveled.
Now this doesn't happen to a lot of us, however I was motivated by a lot of 40 somethings around me to take the leap, do Europe before life does us! Would life really do me if i didn't do it now and regret later?

Post evaluation of my very humble bank account, and the bonus which yet to come in June, I have multiple discussions with Sneha. Now in these discussions I made sure I was confident of the trip more than I actually was, and just wanted a confirmation, a resonating yes from her, so it seals the fissure in my mind.

In life there are times when you would have to make decisions, always keep the flag of your confident self soaring high- because when it is time for the decision to bear fruit- you would own it!

And so it all started, from taking into consideration what others felt, to what we want to feel.

All during the course of the planning and living the trip, Opinions mattered, and hence another one in the form of this blog happened.

I will narrate the experiences we had, the planning we did and what you should or shouldn't do- when you do your's !


PS: I was pretty amazed by the quantum of photos we captured in the trip, it didn't feel like when we were doing it! But It'as all amazing , the All Amazing Euro Trip !
